Looking back: good little things
Looking back at the past week with a photo or a selection of my favourites shots along with my thoughts and impressions.
One of the great things about being a freelancer is that although it's very hard to create a balanced and structured routine regarding your working hours, if you get it right it can mean lovely things like meeting a good friend for brunch on a weekday at their house and squealing over a cute little snail. We called the snail Roger and yes, they stole the show even more than the pancakes we made.
Una de las mejores cosas de hacer freelance es que, aunque sea muy difícil un equilibrio y una rutina estructurada en cuanto a tus horas laborales, si la hacés bien podés lograr cosas muy lindas como encontrarte con un gran amigo para comer un día de semana y estar media hora enternecides por un caracol. Le pusimos Roger (Rogelio) y sí, se llevó el show (más que los panqueques que nos habíamos hecho).
Also my partner moved in with me a couple of weeks ago and left his glasses in a kitchen pan on Wednesday. That made us laugh quite a bit. I'm sure everyone has those brain fart moments: let me know if you've had a funny one lately!
Y mi pareja se mudó conmigo hace un par de semanas y dejó sus anteojos en un sartén el miércoles. Nos reímos mucho. Seguramente todes tengamos esos momentos zonzos: cuéntenme si tuvieron alguno gracioso ultimamente!
Is this the deep and philosophical content you signed up for? Maybe not, but "looking back" is the closest thing to an online diary that I have and sometimes, my life can be pretty adorable. In those moments, I feel like I'm surrounding myself with the right people and overall, things are good. Why not share it?
Este es el contenido profundo y filosófico que buscaban? Quizás no pero este segmento es lo más cercano que tengo a un diario íntimo en línea y a veces, mi vida tiene momentos adorables. En esos momentos, siento que me estoy rodeando de las personas indicadas y en general, las cosas van bien. ¿Y por qué no compartirlo?
