Hello, lovely readers of Coriolismo! This looks like it might be an improvement on the old blog format but I'm not entirely sure: I'd love to hear your thoughts before changing everything. That's why I've named this section "Test."
Some of the blog tools seem to be easier to use, it all seems more streamlined and I think I prefer the way the URLs are set up — the "single-post" before every post is rather annoying to me, even if it's not the end of the world and I think it would only say "post" now. The downside is that there isn't a "Preview" tool or a way to schedule posts, but that's more of an issue for me than for you, obviously.
However, from what I can tell, you can only access the different categories from the top of this page, not the drop-down menu at the top of the website. Plus, there's no option on changing this italic font (what's up with that?) so English would end up in bold while Spanish would be in italics. Is this less readable or is it the same thing?
What do you think? Easier to navigate? Annoying? Too minimal? I still have to work out how it all works and see if I can personalise everything a bit more, but does this format (reminiscent of Medium, no?) have your approval? Let me know in the comments below or on the Coriolismo Instagram!
Hola, mis lectores lindes! Esto pareciera ser una versión más copada del blog anterior pero no estoy del todo convencida: me encantaría saber qué piensan antes de cambiar todo. Por eso le puse "Test" a esta sección.
Algunas de las herramientas parecieran ser más fáciles de usar, todo luce más simple y creo que prefiero el formato de los URLs — siempre me jodió el "single-post" que aparecía en cada publicación, aunque no fuera el fin del mundo y ahora cambiaría a "post."
Lo malo es que no tengo un modo de "vista previa" ni una forma de programar publicaciones pero obviamente no les afecta en absoluto eso. Igual, por lo que veo, sólo podrían mirar las distintas categorías en esta página, no en el menú que hay ahora arriba de todo. Además, no hay opción para que este font no esté en itálicas, con lo cual la parte en inglés estaría en negrilla. Eso les molesta?
Qué les parece? Más fácil de navegar? Molesto? Demasiado minimalista? Obvio que tengo que ver cómo funcinoa todo y ver si lo puedo personalizar un poco más, pero les gusta este formato? Me hace acordar un toque a Medium. Diganme qué piensan en los comentarios o en Instagram!
